Martha de la Torre gave special advices on how to start a successful business.
Los Angeles, CA-February 26, 2012 – Martha de la Torre, founder and CEO of El Clasificado, appeared in “Buenos Días Los Angeles” a morning television show on the popular Hispanic network, Telemundo.
Victor Cordero, also known as “the paparrush”, interviewed Mrs. De la Torre about the key factors on how to start a successful company.
“The first thing you have to have is a sufficiently detailed business plan in order to monitor cash flow weekly. Also, before starting a business or leaving your existing job, have your capital and lines of credit in order, ” explained Mrs. De la Torre during the 6:30am live interview.
Martha also mentioned the importance of having your family on board accepting the risks as well as the right kind of insurance as being “very essential fact to avoid potential lawsuits in the future, where your business and family could be affected.”
The popular Spanish-language weekly publication, El Clasificado, was founded by Martha de la Torre and her now-husband Joe Badame 23 years ago with the help of family and friends. Today the company not only has 475,000 weekly copies distributed in Southern California, from Fresno to San Diego, but has also grown into a media company that organizes events, has multiple niche websites and produces special publications, all in Spanish and free.
Telemundo is the second largest Spanish network in the US and the globe.
