For the sixth consecutive year, El Clasificado has earned a place among the 100 fastest-growing inner city companies in the United States.
The Inner City 100 program recognizes the 100 fastest growing companies in America’s urban communities. The annual list showcases businesses that are creating jobs, income and wealth for inner city residents as well as innovating our country’s economy. This year was no different for the multimedia powerhouse company, as determined by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).
El Clasificado placed 79th on the list. The ranking was unveiled this Wednesday, May 9 in Boston during the Inner City 100 Awards Presentation. The winning inner city companies and their CEOs were recognized as role models for entrepreneurship, innovative business practices, and job creation. El Clasificado has earned this recognition previously in 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, and has been a part of their Hall of Fame since 2011.
This year, in the Award Presentation ceremony, hundreds of business owners had the opportunity to network with business and civic leaders. The Symposium included a full day of management education, including case studies led by Harvard Business School professors and workshops led by Boston University, Babson College, NextStreet and R/GA advertising agency.
El Clasificado took home an important recognition for its continuous work of growing an inner city company.
