Small businesses have been on the losing side of the U.S. economy for decades, but nothing has closed their doors faster than the COVID-19 crisis. Thousands of small businesses across the country have been driven out of business while their larger counterparts have survived and even flourished.

These obstacles are even more present in the Hispanic small business community. Latino businesses were an unstoppable engine driving small-business growth until the pandemic hit. Now, more jobs have been lost in several industry sectors with disproportionately higher rates of Latino-owned businesses — such as food services — than in the private sector overall.

This is where Su Socio De Negocios comes in to help. Boasting years of experience and hundreds of free, Spanish business resources, Su Socio De Negocios has a mission to uplift the smallest of small businesses.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, Su Socio De Negocios is honoring Hispanic small businesses by providing a free, virtual event aimed at providing imperative information on rebuilding post COVID-19. The event will begin at 10am on September 22, 2021.

Su Socio De Negocios is proud to partner with El Clasificado, the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Port of LA, Feher Consulting, SCORE Orange County, and the State of California.

Register TODAY to secure your spot to learn from the following workshops:
  1. Lorraine Wardy – SCORE Orange County – Starting a business post pandemic
  2. Alexia de Leon – El Clasificado – How to prepare your business social media presence for 2022
  3. Claudia Shah – America’s SBDC – How to get ready for access to capital
  4. PANEL DISCUSSION – US Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Port of LA, and Feher Consulting – Importing and Exporting for small businesses
  5. Araceli Mohseni – State of California (DGS) – How to do business with the state of CA

If you have any questions about the event, please contact Sarah Brashear at [email protected].
