Su Socio de Negocios will present a panel of business experts for 150 entrepreneurs at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office headquarters

August 11, 2014 – Los Angeles, CA – It’s no coincidence Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles, speaks Spanish. His relationship with Mexico has been crucial in creating the deep connection he established with the Latino Angelinos that trusted him in the polls on May 21, 2013. Looking to further improve the lives of the same Hispanic community, Mayor Garcetti will attend the next event organized by Su Socio de Negocios and El Clasificado as the guest of honor.

Working to educate and empower Latino entrepreneurs on “How to Build a Wildly Successful Business,” Mayor Garcetti will also be joined by experts from the most prestigious business organizations in Los Angeles from the highest point of the City Hall—the 27th floor of the Bradley Tower. Included in the panel will be Claudia Shah, from the Santa Monica Small Business Development Center, Natalie Orta, from the Small Business Administration in Los Angeles (SBA), Henry Leyva, representative of Kiva Crowfunding, Allie Sanchez, from Habor Business Source Center, and Frank Aguirre, a Business Development Specialist and major part of the LA economic strategies in Mayor Garcetti’s Office.

“This dynamic event will connect people with small business experts who can help them open their doors and create jobs, pumping new blood into the dynamic Latino entrepreneurial spirit here in Los Angeles,” said Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti.

Martha de la Torre, President and CEO of El Clasificado and Su Socio de Negocios, will be responsible for delivering the welcoming remarks. De la Torre has stressed the importance of motivating and educating Latino entrepreneurs with events like this, so that the small business owners can continue to be one of the main economic drivers of the nation. “Our efforts to help the Hispanic community began 26 years ago and thanks to our partnership with the Mayor’s Office we are doing it to an even larger scale.”

The speakers will address various opportunities for attendees to improve their existing business and to generate larger amounts of revenue. With the goal being to share the world of benefits entrepreneurs have available with a select group of attendees, host Su Socio de Negocios invited 150 Southern California entrepreneurs to attend this special seminar.

Presenting the event will be well known journalist, Edgar Muñoz, from Noticiero Telemundo 52, a luxury moderator for a panel that will provide valuable information for small business owners and future entrepreneurs.

The Su Socio de Negocios seminar will be held on August 20th, 2014 at the Bradley Tower 27th floor from 7:30am to 9:30am.
